Add an Internet Base Station Service
Add an Internet Base Station Service (IBSS) to your WorksManager account to allow field devices to connect to the IBSS for real-time corrections.
jAdd the receiver device in Account > Devices in WorksManager with an iI/ password, and proceed to set up the base in the field as usual.

Select the account you want to access IBSSs from in the left pane.

Click Internet Base Stations in the left menu.

Click the Add Base Station button.

Choose IBSS as the Base Station type.

Specify the required IBSS information:

Name
-
Host address (IP or URL)

Port number
-
Mount point
-
User name and password (if required)

Click Save to add the IBSS to your account.
Determine Your IBSS Version
Use https://trimbletools.com/IBSS/Ver_Check.html to determine if your organization is using
v1 or v2.
Set Up an IBSS Base Station
To broadcast corrections, your base station must be configured correctly in both WorksManager and its internal Web user interface.
Step A: Connect the Base to the Internet

Connect your base station to the internet using one of the supported methods:

Ethernet

internal SIM card

Wi-Fi (depending on the base station model, e.g., SPS855, R750)

Step B: Add the Base to Trimble WorksManager

Log in to your WorksManager account.

Navigate to the Devices section and click Add.

Select your device model in the drop-down list.

Enter the device's Serial Number (ensure accuracy, especially for newer models like the R750).

Optionally, add a descriptive name for the base.

Create a password. You will need this password to configure the base hardware.
Step C: Configure the Base via Web UI (I/O configuration)
After physical setup over the control point using Siteworks, configure the base to transmit over IBSS.

Connect to the base station's Web interface.

Navigate to I/O Configuration.

Select one of the IBSS/NTRIP Server ports and check the Enable box.

Check the IBSS Mode box.

Enter your WorksManager Organization name.

Enter the Password you created for the device in WorksManager.

Select the desired output stream format (e.g., CMRx or RTCM V3).

Click OK. The port status should change to green, indicating successful transmission.
