Use a Mixed Fleet of Devices

Trimble has formally adopted the ISO/TS 15143-4 Worksite Data Exchange standard. This standard specifies the methodology for data sharing among diverse technology providers, enabling the management of mixed technology fleets directly through a singular Site Management Solution (SMS). This adoption facilitates Mixed Fleet Technology support with WorksManager Pro. A contractor needing to use Trimble and non-Trimble machine control on the same jobsite can now manage their devices with WorksManager Pro.

The initial supported workflows allow you to:

Link Cloud Projects -You can create a project in WorksManager and link it directly to a corresponding project in a partner’s cloud software.

Unified Design Dispatch - Once linked, you can send a design (specifically LandXML) from WorksManager. The system pushes this design to your connected Trimble machines and—via the ISO integration—to the third-party machines through their respective cloud platform.

NOTE: While Trimble WorksManager has completed the first phase of this implementation, for users to experience this capability, other technology partners must also adopt and implement these ISO standards.
