Initial Release Notes
CIVIL CONSTRUCTION
16 SEPTEMBER 2020
Trimble® WorksOS, a new cloud-based operating system, integrates data from any provider to deliver 3D productivity and real-time progress to plan for site supervisors and project managers to maximize jobsite efficiency. We're forging new ground so you can control your entire construction project while making every working hour more efficient. And simultaneously stay three steps ahead with comprehensive real-time data to make construction management easier on and off the job site.
Trimble WorksOS will integrate with Trimble Business Center, Trimble WorksManager, Trimble Siteworks Positioning System, Trimble Earthworks Grade Control Platform and Trimble PULSE Fleet and Equipment Management Software to bring next-generation, real-time visibility to the construction site.
System Features and Functionality
-
Project Dashboard - Create and set up custom dashboards. Track progress on the job site ‘per area’, ‘per machine’ or ‘per week’ .
-
Machine dot-on-a-map - Track real-time locations of machines on site. Never have a machine work on the wrong area with the wrong design.
-
Shared projects, users with WorksManager - Take advantage of Trimble’s connected ecosystem. Eliminate duplicate work across multiple applications.
-
Cut/fill maps - Compare current cut/fill quantities to planned ones and track progress.
-
Project monitoring - Monitor and report on cut/fill activities as they happen on the job site. Track pass counts and compaction metrics for accurate billing.
-
Upload of surveyed surfaces, designs, linework and alignments - Create and track against composite surfaces (surveyed surfaces + machine mapped surfaces). Visually inspect work being done by adding linework and alignments.
