Transporting the instrument

Always transport the instrument in a locked instrument case. When shipping the instrument, the instrument case should be packed in the original shipping box with foam inserts. Ensure that you save the shipping box and inserts for this purpose.

Always remove the internal battery during transport.

When transporting batteries, make sure to follow national and international rules and regulations. Contact your transport company before shipping.

An optional backpack is available for easy transport at the job site. The backpack can also be used for airline carry-on. Check with the airline to confirm carry-on size restrictions for specific aircraft. See Trimble backpack.
