Troubleshooting

The table below lists some of the error messages that may appear in the work screen and common error states during operation.

Operational State Problem Solution
Coordinate System Failed To Load. Unable to load the coordinate system for the current project. One or more of the coordinate system files, or the site calibration file, may be corrupt. Contact your technician, site engineer, or surveyor.
Coordinate System Failed To Load. <filename>not specified in coordinate system database XML. A file that is referenced in the project site calibration is not included in the coordinate system database. The coordinate system database may need to be updated to include the required file. Contact your technician, site engineer, or surveyor.
Coordinate System Failed To Load. <filename> is missing or invalid. A file that is referenced in the project site calibration is not present in the GeoData on the EC520. Contact your technician, site engineer, or surveyor.
GNSS Error. Autonomous GNSS. The GNSS receiver is tracking satellites but there are no valid corrections.

Check the radio and cables.

Check that the channel setting for the radio matches that of the base station.

Ask your site supervisor to check that the GNSS base station and any repeaters in the radio network are working correctly.

GNSS Error. No GNSS Position. The GNSS receiver is not outputting data. Check the GNSS receiver and cables, and ensure the antennas have a clear view of the sky.
GNSS Error. Old GNSS Position. The GNSS receiver is not tracking enough satellites, or is still acquiring satellites and not yet computing a valid position. Check the GNSS cables and receiver for faults, and ensure the antennas have a clear view of the sky.
GNSS Error. Out of Geoid Range. The GNSS position is out of the range of the loaded geoid grid, or the correct project or Geoid has not been loaded. Move the machine into range, or load a project with the correct Geoid for your location. If problems continue, contact your technician, site engineer, or surveyor.
New Base Station Coordinates Detected. Continued operation may give poor results. Contact your site supervisor. The base station radio channel set up for your system, is also being used by another base station within radio range. Contact your site supervisor.
Sensor Invalid. GNSS Receiver - Left/Right is disconnected. Only one of the GNSS receivers is generating positions. Check the cable and power for the receiver. If problems continue, contact your site supervisor.
Sensors warming up, accuracy could be degraded. The sensor or sensors are below the minimum temperature required to provide accurate guidance. Wait while the internal sensor heaters warm the sensors up to the minimum temperature required for accurate guidance. When the sensors reach the minimum temperature, the 'Initialization required, stay stationary and tap Restart' message displays. You can move the machine while waiting for the initialization to complete.
