Adjusting the Mast Bolt Hole

If the masts on your blade are mounted on adjustable mast mounts (P/N 0791-1381) you can adjust the lean of the masts by moving the bolt that secures the mast to the mount into another hole, as shown in the image below.

For best results always attempt to keep the mast as vertical as possible, and when blade pitch/roll is required, do not roll more than ± 10° from vertical. If you need to pitch/roll the blade forward or back such that the mast lean exceeds ± 10°, you can adjust the bolt hole.

Count the bolt hole position on the mount from the front (1) to the back (7) of the machine. When you change the location of the bolt, you must enter the change into the system. The system uses this to make adjustments for blade pitch, in order to provide accurate guidance.

NOTE –

There are two bolt holes in the lower section of the mast mount. Ensure that you use the same bolt hole that was used for machine measure-up. The unused bolt hole should be filled by a blanking screw to prevent accidental use.
To select a different bolt hole, your technician must enable bolt hole selection in the Web Interface.
Blade elevation errors can occur if the mast lean changes after measure-up. If blade elevation errors occur, loose the mast bolts, push the mast back into the measure position and re-tighten the mast bolts.
