Change Attachments

Every time you change the attachment on your machine, you need to activate the attachment's machine file. Your technician will create a machine file for each attachment.

NOTE – Changing attachments requires an Operator Plus account.

To change an attachment:

  1. Open the System Settings menu and tap Manage Machine File. The Web Interface opens to the Machine Settings Files screen.

  2. Tap the machine file for the attachment you want to use and tap Make Active.

  3. Log in to the Operator App.

To change a Smart dozer blade attachment you need a machine file for each unique machine and blade combination.

NOTE – You must perform a new Smart Attachment Auto Calibration every time you switch Smart dozer blades. See the calibration instructions in the Smart Attachment Auto Calibration section at the end of the Cat Operator Maintenance Manual for Cat Smart Dozer Blade Attachments (M0109882).
