Joystick Configuration for Cat D5–D7 machines

NOTE – For all other joysticks, see Remote Switch and Joystick Configuration on other machine models.

You can use certain switches on the right joystick to perform common tasks while keeping your hands close to the machine controls. The joystick switches only function when you are in the work screen.

The joystick switches let you:

  • Engage Autos.

    Each press of the auto switch will cycle between Auto and Manual.

  • Increase or decrease the elevation offset.

    Press and hold the mode switch while you press the increment/decrement elevation offset switch.
