Sensor correction check

The sensors on the machine can become inaccurate overtime as they operate. To avoid inaccuracies, the Sensor Correction Check must be completed at every 2000 hour interval, if the body sensor is replaced, or if inaccuracies are observed.

Use the Sensor Correction Check in the System settings to perform sensor calibration.

NOTE – The Sensor Correction Check is locked and is available only to operators with Operator Plus permissions.

To access the Sensor Correction Check:

  1. Tap on System Settings > Sensor Correction Check.

The Sensor Correction Check screen displays step-by-step instructions to perform the corrections. The check requires the machine to be positioned on a flat surface and a slope of 10 degrees for calibration. Follow the instructions on the screen and tap Begin Reading when the machine is in correct position. The system reads the pitch and roll values from the sensors and applies corrections.

If the measured values are not within the range displayed on the screen, the values appear in red and the Begin Reading button is disabled. To enable the Begin Reading button, ensure that the measured values displayed on the screen are within the acceptable limits. The values appear in green if they are in within the acceptable limits.
