Updating the Cutting Edge Length

To account for cutting edge wear, enter the cutting edge length for your cutting edge. The system uses this length to calculate accurate guidance.

To enter the cutting edge length:

  • Access the Bowl Manager screen.
  • Tap the Edit button to open the Cutting Edge Length screen.
  • Use a straight edge to mark a line through the center of the bolt holes on bowl cutting edge.
  • Use a tape measure to measure the distance between the bolt hole line and the cutting edge. Enter the value into the field.
  • Tap Save.

NOTE – The cutting edge could be either the bottom edge of the drop center cutting edge or the bottom edge of the end cutting edge. Confirm with your technician which bottom edge is the cutting edge for your machine.

Update the cutting edge length regularly, or as you notice wear, to enable the system to provide accurate guidance.
