Trimble R750 / R750-2 Help

Welcome to the Trimble® R750 / R750-2 GNSS Receiver Help.

The R750 and the R750-2 (also known as Model 2) modular GNSS receivers are ideal for the following site development and construction applications:

  • Base station for precision GNSS applications such as site positioning and machine control

  • Location RTK for site vehicle and supervisors

  • Precision RTK rover on-site

  • System integrator applications using Location GNSS augmentation, including RTX, OmniSTAR, Location RTK, SBAS, DGPS RTCM, and Precision RTK

The receiver has a keypad and display, so you can configure the receiver without using a controller or computer. The receiver can optionally record GNSS data to the internal memory, and transfer the data over a internal LTE modem, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, serial, or ethernet connection.

The R750-2 receiver (available from end of May 2025 in select countries) has the following additional features:

  • Internal UHF radio:

    • Dual-band (selectable):

      • 410 to 475 MHz: Worldwide excluding S. Africa, Thailand, and UAE (depending on the local licensing) (P/N 218500‑50).

      • 900 MHz: Fully integrated, internal 900 MHz radio; Tx/Rx 1 W transmit power (P/N 218500‑50).

    • 450 MHz only (ETSI compliant for S. Africa, Thailand, and UAE):

      • 410 to 473 MHz (P/N 218500‑40).

    • No UHF (P/N 218500‑00).

  • Maxwell™ 7 technology dual-chipset for 672 tracking channels.

  • Worldwide 4G LTE modem with extended global carrier support.

For more information, see Standard features.

Unless otherwise noted, this information covers both receiver models.

NOTE – The label on your receiver shows if you have an R750 or R750-2. P/N 118500‑xx is an R750. P/N 218500‑xx is an R750-2. When you log into the web interface, it shows the model of the receiver in the top-right corner of the screen.
