Resetting passwords
You cannot recover a forgotten password; this is a security risk.
Administrators
You cannot change the user name of the admin account. To reset the password, apply a full factory reset of the receiver:

Front panel: Configuration menu / Reset / Reset All Settings.

Web interface: Receiver Configuration menu / Reset. Select the Clear Admin Password check box and click OK next to Clear All Receiver Setttings.
Once the reset is complete, the default login credentials are:
User Name: admin
Password: Enter the serial number of the receiver when connecting to the receiver using an ethernet cable.
Password: Type password when connecting to the receiver using Wi-Fi.
Once you have logged in using the default login credentials. Trimble recommends you change your password. See Change Password.
For high-security applications, Trimble recommends using a firewall in front of the receiver. The receiver supports HTTPS connections, these are recommended. See HTTP Server Config.
You cannot change the user name of an account once it is set up. Delete the account and set up a new account with the new user name.
Users
If you are a user and you have been provided with "edit security" rights, you can change your password. See Change Password.
If you are a user, and you do not have "edit security" rights, you cannot change your password. The fields on the Change Password will be grayed out. Contact your receiver administrator who can provide you with these rights so you can change your password.
