Version 2026.11 of the Trimble® RealWorks software is available from April 2026.

New features and enhancements

  • Unstructured e57 Export with Imagery: Unstructured e57 exports now support the inclusion of equirectangular imagery (For those going to Recap, version 2025.1 and later supports unstructured e57 imagery)

Trimble does not support FARO Premium scanners with Trimble RealWorks or other Trimble products because the updated API for the FARO .fls format has not been provided to Trimble. Users can choose to prevent the installation of the outdated .fls library through custom installation options.

Resolved Issues

  • TZF Import: Resolved a systematic software crash occurring when a TZF file was absent from the .rwi directory.

  • TRCPS Publishing: Fixed an issue where exports would fail if an associated area scan was colorized but the primary station scan was not.

  • IFC Export: Fixed a bug where specifi c model entities were being omitted during the export process.

  • SX12 Colorization: Addressed a colorization error in SX12 scans resulting from Face 2 image inversion.

  • Publisher: The `Unblock-File` command eliminates the Windows Mark of the Web security restriction on all files, which otherwise prevents files from different computers from executing, ensuring the published project functions correctly.

If you are experiencing random crashes or stuttering issues with RTX Ada generation cards, especially with NVIDIA drivers version 572.xx or newer, try deactivating the "Threaded optimization" option in the NVIDIA control panel. This has been reported to resolve stability issues in multithreaded OpenGL applications. For more details, you can refer to the NVIDIA Developer Forums.
