Scanning total station overview

The SX12 or SX10 scanning total station require Siteworks version 1.50 or above. Siteworks v1.50 supports both the SX10 and SX12 scanning total stations. However, only the SX12 is sold currently by SITECH into the Civil Construction space, due to the end of life of the SX10 instrument. For all intents and purposes, the functionality on both instruments is identical, with the exception that the SX12 scanning total station contains a laser pointer and the SX10 does not. The term SX12 is used throughout this document to refer to both the SX10 and SX12 scanning total stations.

To use the SX12 in Siteworks, you need the Advanced Measurement module installed. The SX12 is only available for use on Windows data collectors, it is not available on Android.

Starting with version 1.70, the SX12 is available for use as the total station in Integrated Survey (see Integrated Survey).
