Surface offset

Regardless of the VCL surface type being used as the active surface, you can apply a surface offset to it. Access the surface offset setting in the Surface Settings screen (select Home / Settings / Surface Setting), info bar, or some workflow settings buttons.

The VCL surfaces can be offset vertically or perpendicularly above or below the original surface. Once the surface offset is set for the current active surface, it is applied in all Siteworks features (measure, stakeout, and COGO).

Changing the active surface in the Open Project screen defaults the surface offset setting to zero. Changing the offset in the Surface Settings screen applies the surface offset value displayed in the same window.

The current surface offset value is saved with the measured data, just like when using a TTM or PRO design.
