Attaching the panel attachment cover

NOTE – This feature is not available on all models.

The Trimble SPS Series Total Station is delivered with a cover for the panel holder. The cover for the panel holder is attached to the instrument in the same way as the T70 adapter.

NOTE – The panel attachment cover is not required for operation or for waterproofing the instrument; it is designed to keep the contacts clean and free from dust and dirt over time only. If you are using an external controller, the panel attachment cover should be used at all times to keep the contacts protected.

Hook the top of the panel attachment cover over the top edge of the panel attachment.
Push the bottom of the panel attachment cover toward the panel attachment until it clicks into place.
