Trajectory server

The Trimble SPS Series Total Station is equipped with Trimble's patented Trajectory Server.

The Trajectory Server System estimates the trajectory of the target if the signal is interrupted by passing traffic or a stationary object that causes temporary loss of signal during operation. As long as the machine is continuing along the same trajectory at a constant speed, the Trimble SPS Series Total Station will regain lock to the target as soon as the obstruction is removed (provided that happens within the time that the trajectory model is valid). The Trajectory Model timeout depends on the speed of the target, the measured distance from the instrument, and the trajectory of the target in relation to the instrument.
