Import GEOPAK® XS-List Report Files (.xsr)
Import Bentley® GEOPAK XS-List Report (cross-section) files of station, offset, and elevation values to create points or stored cross-sections associated with an alignment in your project. You can then use the data to create a surface. In the Import Settings, you can have the data in the file create either cross-sections and a surface, or points and a surface on import. The name of the surface created will be that of the imported .xsr file. To import a file, follow the instructions in Import Data.
Rule for importing an .xsr cross-section file:
- You must have an alignment in your project to import the file. If you have only one alignment, the cross-sections will be associated with that alignment upon import. If you have more than one alignment, the name of the .xsr file must match the name of an alignment. If you do not have an alignment, the importer will not work.
Note: If you import or create stored cross-sections at stations that are beyond the extents of their associated alignment, the cross-sections are denoted by a triangle icon at the beginning of the alignment (the cross-sections themselves are not actually drawn). To select one of the stored cross-sections, ‘window’ around the icon in the Plan View and pick the cross-section in the Selection Explorer.
