flight mission

An interconnected series of aerial photo station images recorded with an unmanned aircraft system (UAS) that are intended to be processed as a single unit and used for surveying purposes. A single flight mission can include one or more flight blocks, each intended to cover a single polygonal area. The following image shows the area that could be covered by either two separate flight missions or two separate blocks contained in a single flight mission.
