Add New Data Providers
Add websites that you regularly use to the list of data providers. If your projects are consistently in the same geographic area, configuring and adding local data providers can make accessing Internet data very efficient.
Note: For instructions on adding a Trimble IP-enabled receiver as a data provider site, see Add New Trimble IP-Enabled Receivers.
To add a new data provider site:
- In the Internet Download pane, click the Internet Download Configuration icon on the toolbar.
- In the Internet Download Configurationdialog, select the group in the Providers list to which you want to add a new data provider sit .

If you selected a Reference Stations group, the New Site dialog displays. Click the Enter the details manually option and click OK.
button. - In the New Site Properties dialog, complete the fields on the various tabs as necessary (see New Provider Options for instructions).
The tabs displayed vary depending on the group you selected. The URL Wizard button is used only when adding a Trimble IP-enabled receiver as a data provider site (see Add New Trimble IP-Enabled Receivers).

The new site is displayed in the Providers list in the Internet Download Configuration dialog.

Tip: Once you have added the web sites you need to your list of providers, the site information is saved in a file named INetDownload.xml
. Share your list of sites with colleagues by copying this .xml file from your computer into the equivalent directory in their computers. The location of this file is C:\Users\(username)\AppData\Roaming\Trimble\Trimble Business Center \(internal version number)\
Note: The file that contains the default site list is named cg_list.csv.
After the application accesses this list the first time, it switches to accessing the .xml list stored in the same location. Any changes you make to the list of providers will be retained in the .xml file mentioned above. If you reinstall or update the program, different file entries will be merged into your .xml list; it will not be overwritten.
