Symbol Editor

Use the Symbol Editor to create and edit symbols that can then be accessed in Trimble Business Center through the Symbol Manager command. The point symbols that you create and edit become the symbols in the software and Feature Definition Manager utility.

To use the Symbol Editor and symbols:

1. Add, edit, and delete multiple symbols in the editor.
2. Save the symbols that you want to use in Trimble Business Center as a Symbol Library (.sym) to C:/Program Files/Trimble/Feature Definition Manager/PEditor/.
3. Follow the directions for importing symbols in Manage Symbols.
4. Select the symbols in various commands to control how processed features look in graphic views and printed output.

To access the command:

• Select Symbol Editor in Drafting > Drafting Elements.
