Export RINEX Files (.rnx)

Export the following GNSS raw data file types into the RINEX file format (.rnx) so they can be processed, with the same configuration, using another post-processing software:

  • Trimble T01, T02 or DAT file
  • Ashtech Quark file
  • RINEX file

The exported RINEX files will include any stop-and-go occupations, as retrieved from original file, along with appropriate header information, including the default marker name, approximate position, antenna model and height, and receiver model, as set in Trimble Business Center.

To export RINEX files:

  1. Select Export in Home > Data Exchange.
  2. In the Export pane, select the Survey tab and select RINEX exporter.
  3. Click in the Data field. Then select the GNSS raw data files you want to export in Project Explorer > Imported Files.

Optionally, click the Options button and select an appropriate selection option.

  4. Optionally, in the File Name field, change the default export file name. If necessary, click the Browse button to specify a location for the export file other than the project folder.
  5. In the Settings section, optionally do the following:
    • Select a different version for the RINEX files.
    • Enter an observer name to include in the RINEX file header.
    • Enter an agency name to include in the RINEX file header.
  6. Click Export.
