Export Applanix SmartBase Files (.asb)
Immediately after importing GNSS points contained in one or more raw data files, you can export all or some of those points to a single Applanix SmartBase file (.asb) that can be uploaded to the Applanix SmartBase Cloud service. The Applanix SmartBase Cloud Service then uses the data to deliver a virtual base station in the center of the surveyed area that covers the entire time duration of all the selected GNSS points.
Note: Point coordinates are exported in meters only.
To export Applanix SmartBase files (.asb):
- Select Export in Home > Data Exchange.
- In the Export pane, select the Survey tab and select Applanix SmartBase exporter.
- Click in the Data field. Then using the the Project Explorer or Plan View, select the GNSS points you want to export. Or, use the Project Explorer to select one or more imported GNSS raw data files (for example, T02 or DAT files) whose GNSS points you want to include in the export.
Optionally, click the Options button and select an appropriate selection option.
- Optionally, in the File Name field, change the default export file name. If necessary, click the Browse button to specify a location for the export file other than the project folder.
- Click Export.
