Export Bentley Pointools Files (.pod)
Streamline workflows by registering and editing point clouds in TBC and exporting point cloud data in POD file format for use in Bentley Pointools.
To export a Bentley Pointools file:
- Select Export.
- In the Export pane, select the Point Cloud tab.
- Select POD exporter in the list.
- Click in the Data field and then select the objects you want the export file to contain.
- If necessary, rename the file and click […] to navigate to a location in which to create the file. Or click the Save File Remotely button and select an external service profile and path.
- Click Export.
