synchronize

The process of making files on a site controller identical to files in the synchronizer root folder ('file synchronization area') used by Trimble Business Center and SCS Data Manager. To be in a state of synchronization, a file with the same modify date must appear on both the controller and in the synchronization area. Users synchronize files so that they are always using the most current/same data.
