Run an Alignment Geometry Report
Generate an Alignment Geometry Report to see a simple summary or detailed listing of the geometry of an alignment in your project. You can choose to report on just the horizontal component or both the horizontal and vertical components of alignments. If you have specified station equations, they will be reported as well.
Note: This report is also one of several reports with a predefined template that you can modify to create a new custom report. See below.
To run an Alignment Geometry Report:
- Do one of the following:
- Select Alignment Geometry Report.
- Select Reports > Report Options in the Quick Access Toolbar and then double-click Alignment Geometry Report in the list.
- Right-click an alignment, and select Alignment Geometry Report from the context menu.
The Alignment Geometry Report command pane displays.
- Select an alignment in the Alignment list.
- Click
The Alignment Geometry Report displays in your default Web browser.

To change report settings:
- Do one of the following:
- Click the Report Options icon on the Alignment Geometry Report command pane's toolbar.
- Select Reports > Report Options in the Quick Access Toolbar.
The Report Options command pane displays.
- Select Alignment Geometry Report in the list.
- Expand sections and specify output settings in the Settings group as needed.

Tip: You can also change the abbreviations used for horizontal and vertical alignment classifications in the Alignment Geometry Report. Select Project > Project Settings, and click Abbreviations in the left pane. Edit any of the abbreviations in the right column and click . Rerun the report to see your changes.
