Import and Export Data Using Trimble Access Drive
Trimble Access Drive, if installed on your computer, is configured to be a direct link the Connected Community (TCC) Web server. It is displayed as one or more hard drive letters (each representing a root folder on the TCC Web site) in your Windows Explorer window and in the various Browse widows you use in the software to import and export data files.
When importing or exporting data using the Import or Export command, simply select the Trimble Access Drive drive letter associated with the TCC Web server root folder you want to access, and, if necessary, browse to the appropriate subfolder.
As an alternative when importing data, use the Windows Explorer window to browse to the Trimble Access Drive, select the file you want to import from the TCC Web server, and then drag and drop it onto a data view.
Caution: The software allows you to set import properties when importing certain types of files. These properties are displayed in the Import command pane when you select Import in Home > Data Exchangeand select the file type. If you choose to import one of these types of files using the drag-and-drop method rather than the Import command pane, you will not be able to see the default import properties or change them.
