template node

The point in a corridor template at which a new instruction takes effect, changing the shape of the template. Nodes are used to define the various offsets and slopes in the templates. For example, a simple road corridor might contain three nodes: a centerline based on the alignment, a right edge of pavement, and a left edge of pavement.
