Specify the Data Synchronization Area for Field Data

Synchronization is the process of making files on controllers match the files in the data synchronization area used by this program, Office Synchronizer, SCS Data Manager, and the Connected Community. Use application options to set the location where files are synchronized so that office staff and field crews/machines are using the same (or most current) data.

  1. Select Options in the Quick Access Toolbar.
  2. Click File Locations in the left pane.
  3. Click the Browse button located next to the Data synchronization area box.

    Navigate to the folder that you want to use for synchronization, and click OK to specify that folder as the data synchronization area for Office Synchronizer to use in storing data transferred between the computer and controllers used in the field.controller

    Note: Remember that your other Trimble software, such as Terramodel, use this path too.

  4. Click OK.
