Select which file version you want the exported file to be compatible with. Typically, you only have to specify this if you are exporting a file for someone running an older version of Survey Controller or other third-party software (unlikely).

Select the distance units if you know the units being used on the device to which you are sending the file.

Select the appropriate option to specify the order in which points are sorted in the exported JXL file:

• Chronological - Select this option if you are exporting points that do not include linework-producing feature codes so that the points are sorted in the order in which they were created.
• Feature processing - Select this option If you are exporting points that do include linework-producing feature codes so that the points are sorted in the order required to recreate accurate feature linework in the destination application.

Grid - Select this if you are exporting to a system using northing, easting, and elevation.

Global - Select this if you are exporting to a system using latitude, longitude, and height.

Type the name of the file as you want it to appear on the device to which you are exporting.
