New features and improvements
-
User interface enhancement. To help change the TDL450B setup, the display will highlight the option that is currently selected when scrolling through a list of possible options. For example, when selecting the Wireless mode.
-
Bluetooth. Bluetooth can now be completely disabled. Please specify this option to your Trimble dealer. You will need to connect the radio to your computer and run the Trimble Installation Manager to configure your radio with this option. This option is reversible but can only be set by your dealer. For information on Bluetooth, see Bluetooth.
-
Independently select the receive frequency. In Repeater mode, the receive (Rx) frequency can be selected independently from the transmit (Tx) frequency. The radio will allow setting a different transmit and receive frequency in repeater mode using the radio interface and keypad. The setup is straightforward:
-
Set up the radio in Repeater mode.
Select Menu / Wireless Settings / Radio Mode / Repeater.
-
Select the channel corresponding to the transmit frequency you want to use.
Select Menu / Wireless Settings / Select Channel.
-
Enter the new receive frequency you want to use.
Select Menu / Wireless Settings / Rx Frequency. An asterisk appear after the channel number to indicate you are using a different Rx and Tx channel.
You can change the receive frequency as many times as you want without changing the transmit frequency or the channel number, but if you leave the Repeater mode or change the Channel/Tx frequency, you will lose your Rx frequency setting.
For more information on modes, see Base/Rover or Repeater mode selection.
-
General improvements and fixes
-
