To start the conventional survey
- In Trimble Access, make sure the required job is open.
-
To start the survey, tap
and select Measure or Stakeout. If there is more than one survey style configured, select a survey style from the list. Select the station setup to use, for example Station setup.
When you select a survey style for the first time, the software prompts you to customize the style for your specific hardware.
- When prompted, use the electronic level to level the instrument. Tap Accept.
-
Set the corrections associated with the instrument.
If the Corrections screen does not appear, tap Options and enter the correction information.
For some instruments, the software automatically checks to see if various corrections (PPM, prism constant, and curvature and refraction) are being applied correctly. When you select Station setup, messages showing what has or has not been checked are displayed in the status line. If the software finds that the corrections are being applied twice, a warning message appears.
- Complete the station setup. See Station setup.
- Set up targets. See Targets.
- Measure or stake out points.
