Connections
Use the Connections screen to configure connections to other devices.
To view the Connections screen, tap and select Settings / Connections.
Select the appropriate tab:
- Bluetooth to configure a Bluetooth connection to an instrument, GNSS receiver, or other device.
- Radio settings to configure a radio connection to a conventional instrument.
- Wi-Fi to set up a Wi‑Fi connection from to the Trimble SX10 or SX12 scanning total station.
- Auto-connect to configure the instruments or receivers that the controller will automatically connect to.
- GNSS correction source to configure the source of real-time corrections for a GNSS RTK survey.
- Auxiliary GPS to configure auxiliary GPS from a GPS device integrated into the controller or third-party GPS devices connected via Bluetooth. Auxiliary GPS can be used during a conventional survey for GPS search, navigating to a point, and to display the position in the map.
To configure how the controller connects to the internet, select the GNSS contacts tab and then tap the Internet setup softkey at the bottom of the screen. See Internet connection setup.
