Trimble Connect

Trimble Connect® is a cloud collaboration platform to share, manage and review data securely in a centralized location.

This section of the Trimble Field Systems Help Portal outlines the services and and extensions provided in Trimble Connect specifically to support Trimble Field Systems data workflows.

Use the Trimble Field Systems services and extensions in Trimble Connect to:

  • easily and securely send data to field devices or receive data in the office.

  • get real-time insights into job status and data quality.

  • view and manage data in the cloud, including large datasets such as point clouds and 3D models.

  • get quick and accurate updates on projects.

Trimble Connect extensions for Trimble Field Systems

Enable extensions in Trimble Connect to seamlessly connect projects and share data between the field and office. The available extensions are:

  • Field Data Viewer

    View and download field data that was captured using Trimble Access™ to identify issues early and reduce rework. You can also easily download data from the cloud project to your field device.

  • Reality Capture

    Store, manage and share point cloud datasets in a centralized Trimble Connect project using the Trimble Reality Capture Platform service.

Enabling Trimble Connect extensions

Trimble Connect extensions are available to Trimble Connect users who have a Business Premium license. To enable extensions:

  1. Sign in to Trimble Connect Web using your Trimble ID.

  2. In the left navigation menu, click Settings and then click Extensions.

  3. The available extensions are displayed under Trimble Extensions. Click the slider next to the extension to enable it.

  4. Once the extension is enabled, the extension application appears in the left navigation menu.
