Powering on/off the scanner

• Power On:

  • Check the lenses to ensure they are perfectly clean.

  • Connect two batteries to the scanner.

  • Press and hold the On/Off button for at least 0.3 seconds.

  • Please do not touch the display during switch on and booting.

  • The power-up process starts and will require approximately 20 seconds to complete.

  • During the power-up process, the deflection unit will spin.

  • The startup is complete after an audible sound.

  • You are prompted to enter a WiFi password for security purposes the first time the scanner is started. You have the option to Skip and Disable Wi-Fi or enter the password if you choose to operate the scanner with Perspective. See Start screen for more information.

• Power Off:

  • Press and hold the On/Off button for at least 0.5 seconds.

  • The display shows "Shutdown system! Please wait"

  • In the event of a system crash, press the On/Off button for at least 5 seconds. The scanner will then switch off.
