Configuring the receiver

SPS modular and SPSx61 modular GPS Heading receivers only.

You can configure the receivers in a number of ways. These topics describe the different configuration methods, and explains when and why each method is used.

The Siteworks or SCS900 Site Controller software is likely to be your main tool to set up and operate the receiver on a daily basis. All required field configurations are handled through the Siteworks or SCS900 software running on a controller. For more information, refer to the Trimble Siteworks or SCS900 Site Controller Software User Guides.

The external software detailed here is primarily used to update the receiver firmware and to configure upgrades or radio channels.
