Automatically Balance a Corridor Mass Haul
After you have created a mass haul analysis and defined vehicle haul ranges for your project, use the Auto-Balance Mass Haul command to apply the haul ranges to every balanced section.
Prerequisites:

- Corridor mass haul analysis - Prior to balancing make sure there is not a deficit or excess of material at barriers and at the end of the alignment.
- Haul ranges
To automatically balance a corridor mass haul:
- In the Project Explorer, select the mass haul to balance or select the ordinate in the mass haul diagram.
- Select Auto-Balance Mass Haul in Corrior Mass Haul > Balancing. The Auto Balance Mass Haul pane displays.
- In the Mass haul analysis list select the mass haul to balance.
- In the Material list select the material to balance. You can balance either the Usable and Unusable ordinates OR the individual material ordinates. Select Usable material or Unusable material to balance the usable and unusable ordinate which represent all material volumes combined. Select an individual material to balance a specific material. Select All Materials to balance all individual material ordinates. When Generic Fill is set to No in the corridor mass haul analysis properties and specific fill materials are required the Usable and Unusable material ordinates are not available for balancing.

To clear balance lines in a Corridor Mass Haul Diagram:
- In the Project Explorer, select the Mass Haul or select an ordinate in the mass haul diagram.
- Select Clear Mass Haul Balances in Corrior Mass Haul > Balancing.
All of the balance lines are cleared.
