Understanding Terrestrial Photo Stations
An imaging rover is a mobile device containing multiple integrated cameras that are able to capture a panoramic view. A prism or RTK receiver is typically attached to the imaging rover to record its location when it captures images. A photo station is created each time the imaging rover captures a set of photos. A photo station defines a point and includes coordinate data, images, and any applicable raw sensor values.
