2D View Navigation

Use your mouse or, where applicable, your trackpad to navigate 2D views using the following actions.

Using a mouse with a mouse wheel:

  • Pan - Press the right button and drag the mouse. (To pan at a slower rate, press [Alt] while you drag the mouse.)
  • Zoom - Rotate the mouse wheel. (To zoom at a slower rate, press [Alt] while you rotate the wheel.)
  • Rotate - Press [Ctrl] + [Shift] and your mouse wheel, and then drag a "rubber band" line in the Plan View indicating the direction you want to specify as "up", resulting in the view rotating accordingly.
