Export Planar Surface Files (.tsd)

Export a sloping or level surface design by using the Machine Job Site Design exporter and selecting the Surface in the Model type list. If the design is a .tsd file, the output will also be a .tsd file.

Planar surfaces (which can be created using the Create Planar Surface command) are typically used for grade control; they are used to provide guidance similar to that provided by a dual slope laser level (sloping surface) or a level laser (level surface). This guidance is useful when cutting building pads, sports fields, or parking lots. On GCS machines, the planar surfaces are referred to as either Sloping surface or Level surface, depending on their type.

See Export GCS Machine Job Site Design Files for instructions on exporting surface type job site design files.
