Push buttons
The TDL510 radio includes five LEDs that indicate the status of the modem. See Connectors and LEDs. It also has four push buttons to enable easy modification of the settings without needing an external terminal.
The TDL510 radio is set to SURV LCD mode by the Trimble Dealer when the transmit frequencies are added.
SURV menu
In SURV mode there are considerably less settings that can be changed. In the main screen, the current channel, frequencies, channel spacing and TX power are visible.
Asterisk (*) next to the power level means that the active power level is set to be lower than the current channel allows.
In the setup menu, you can change the following settings:
-
Current channel
-
Compatibility mode
-
TX power
-
Repeater mode
-
FEC mode (for SATELLINE-3AS mode only)
