Geotechnical gateways

Trimble 4D Control offers geotechnical sensor support via imported CSV files or data synchronization directly from third-party geotechnical platforms such as Worldsensing.

This functionality makes it easy to monitor large numbers of Geotechnical sensors in a Trimble 4D Control monitoring project.

You must be a system administrator to be able to see the Geotech Gateways menu in Trimble 4D Control Web.

For optimal data capture with Worldsensing laser tiltmeters, vibration meters, GNSS Meter and data loggers, configure reporting periods of 2 minutes or longer in the Worldsensing Gateway Network settings. See Worldsensing measurement frequency.

To use a geotechnical gateway:

  1. Configure the connection to the Geotechnical Gateway and review the available gateway sensors.

  2. Once connected, you can import gateway sensors to the current Monitoring project.

  3. You can review the synchronization status of gateway sensors in the project at any time.
