Viewing and managing data

Point clouds published to the project are listed in the Reality Capture extension. The 2D map shows the locations of the selected point clouds.

• To view the point cloud in the Trimble Connect 3D Viewer, click View in 3D. See Inspecting and sharing data in the 3D Viewer.

• To view the point cloud in the Trimble Connect Multi-pane viewer, click View in Multi-pane viewer. See Viewing and sharing data using the Multi-pane viewer.

• To download the point cloud, click .

• To send the point cloud to the Recycle Bin, click . Scans in the Recycle Bin are automatically deleted forever after 30 days.

Point cloud details

Select a point cloud in the list to view the Details panel, which shows:

• A thumbnail image showing a lightweight version of the point cloud

• Point cloud properties

• Tags assigned to the point cloud

• Classification data for the point cloud

Searching for point cloud data using filters

Click the Filter button at the top right to filter scan data by property, including:

• Scan name

• Scan status

• Upload date

• Capture date

• Scanner type

• Tags

• Whether the data is classified

• Whether the data contains stations
