Customer activation of renewable subscriptions
Once a renewable subscription is assigned to the customer, the customer receives an email containing a subscription activation link. The customer completes the tasks required to activate the subscription. The email address used to purchase the subscription is designated as the administrator for the subscription. Only administrators can manage subscriptions (including assigning and removing users).
To activate the subscription, the customer must:

Click Activate my subscription in the Welcome email they received when the subscription was assigned in the Virtual Warehouse.
If the customer does not receive the activation email or cannot locate it, you can resend the email from the Virtual Warehouse. See To resend the activation email.

Sign in to Trimble License Manager using their Trimble ID. If the customer does not have a Trimble ID, they can create one from this page.
Trimble License Manager shows the subscriptions the customer has purchased. Each subscription has its own tile showing subscription duration or expiry date and the user assigned to that subscription.
- To add users to the organization in Trimble License Manager:
- Click Users in the menu on the left.
- Click Create user at the bottom right of the screen.
Enter the email address, and first and last name of the user. Click Create user.
- To assign the subscription licenses to users:
- If required, scroll to the appropriate product tile.
- In one of the subscriptions that is not yet assigned, click Assign existing user and select the user from the list.
In the confirmation dialog, click Assign.
Each user receives an email containing a software download link and information on how to install the required software.
- To activate the subscription:
- In the appropriate product tile, click Terms to view the Terms of Service.
- Select the I accept terms of service check box to indicate your acceptance of the Terms of Service.
- Click OK.
For each subscription you are ready to activate, click Activate.
Because activation will immediately start to use up the subscription period, subscription should not be activated until the customer has received the required hardware from their distributor.
In the confirmation dialog, click Activate.
The Expiry date field shows when the subscription period will end. To view the calendar expiry date, hover over the Expiry date field.
