Edit a Horizontal Alignment
Edit a horizontal alignment (HAL) by adding, removing, inserting, and modifying either horizontal segments or curves at Points of Intersection (PIs), depending on how the alignment was initially defined.
Note: You can only edit one alignment at a time. If you have multiple alignments selected, only the active alignment (indicated in bold in the Project Explorer) appears in the Alignment Editor.
Prerequisites:
- License; See the Subscription Plans page. For a license matrix by command, see the License page in the TBC Community. Also see View and manage licensed features.

- Press [TAB] or to advance to the next cell.
- Enter values in each of the cells (based on the type of segment you chose) as specified in the engineering design.
Note: When entering values, you can always right-click in the Plan View for COGO and snap options.
Note: If your engineering design shows values in a format different that the Alignment Editor is using, click the Project Settings icon to access the Project Settings dialog where you can change the display formats and entry methods. - Repeat the previous steps until you have created segments or curves at PIs for the entire HAL.
Note: Visually check the alignment in the Plan View as you enter values.
