Export Station Panorama Image Files (.jpg)
You can export a panorama captured with a photo station to a JPG (.jpg) file that can be opened and viewed in any graphic viewer.
Prerequisites:
Before exporting photo station panoramas from your project, you might want to improve the visual quality of the panoramas by balancing the exposure and/or blending the edges of the panorama's photo images as described in Process Panoramas.
To export station panorama image files:
- Select Export in Home > Data Exchange to display the Export command pane.
- Select the GIS tab. Then select Station panorama exporter in the list.
- In the Export station panoramas list, check the stations from which you want export panoramas.
- Optionally, change the name or location of the export folder using the File Name field.
By default, the export folder is named the same as the project and is stored in the project folder. Each of the exported JPG files, named the same as its associated photo station, will be stored in the folder.
- Click the Export button.
You can double-click any JPG file stored in the panorama folder to view it in your default graphics viewer/editor.
Notes:
- Cubic panoramas, such as those imported from Trimble X7 and X9 3D laser scanners, are exported from TBC with a fixed size instead of being sized dynamically as is done with spherical panoramas. This ensures cubic panoramas are exported to their full extent.
- Spherical panoramas that are not fully spherical 360-degree (full dome) panoramas do not display in the correct aspect ratio.
