Publish Designs to WorksManager
Use the Publish Designs to WorksManager command to publish one or more WorksManager project designs when:
- You create or modify WorksManager designs while offline and then connect. The data is saved to the data sync area (C:\Trimble Synchronizer Data\WorksManager\<project name>\Designs\<design name and version>) while offline and then synchronized once you go online and publish using this command. The most current/latest version of each design that you publish overwrites earlier versions in WorksManager.
- You are online and modify the data that any WorksManager designs reference, causing the designs to be out-of-sync/in-conflict. Rather than return to the WorksManager Design Manager to resolve conflicts by pushing the new data from TBC for each design individually, run this command to resynchronize multiple designs with WorksManager all at once.
Note: This command does not publish project data (units, boundary, site calibration, control points, or avoidance zones). Those are published to WorksManager automatically when you run the WorksManager Project command.
Note: The Publish Designs to WorksManager command is ‘modal’, meaning that it prevents you from interacting with other parts of the program while it is open. This keeps you from inadvertently modifying design data that would change the synchronization status of designs you are trying to publish.
Versioning
Version numbers are displayed wherever a design is shown. When a design is republished, its version number is incremented by one so that everyone (CAD technicians in the office, site managers, surveyors, and machine operators in the field) can easily determine if they have the latest design data by comparing the version numbers in WorksManager with their versions.

Note: You do not have to publish designs that you are still working on. Uncheck the boxes for these.
Note: The (modified) tags may change dynamically for a short time while TBC retrieves the latest version information from WorksManager. You can wait for the synchronization to finish or click OK to queue your published versions until the synchronization is complete (at which time they will be pushed to WorksManager. - Click OK.
