Resolve a Conflict in Job Site Settings
Change unsupported project settings so that they can be recognized by assigned controllers. Unsupported settings are those that are valid in this software, but not in Site Controller Software (SCS). For example, the angular unit "Mils" is unsupported in SCS900, so it must be changed to a value that can be recognized.
Resolve conflicts between site-related settings in your project, and those on assigned controllers by changing and resynchronizing the settings. Conflicting settings are those that are valid in, but inconsistent between, this software and SCS. A conflict is indicated by the active Resolve button with the icon in the Job Site Manager.
Causes of a site settings conflict include differences in distance or angular units, station format, or coordinate order.
Note: If there is a conflict in site units, you cannot edit or resolve conflicts in control points or site maps.
Note: The Undo and Redo commands do not affect any of the functions that synchronize files. Undo and Redo affect only edits made to database objects within your project; this does not include files in the data synchronization area (which SCS and GCS use). If you try to undo a conflict resolution, the button remains disabled because the conflict is still resolved.
