Resolve a Conflict in Control Points
Resolve inconsistencies between control points you have included in your job site data and control points for the same site on assigned site controllers by choosing which points to use for all. A conflict is indicated by the active Resolve button with the icon in the Job Site Manager command pane.
Causes of a control point conflict include differences in coordinates, feature codes, point file names or dates, or the points they contain.
Note: If you have file overwrite protection enabled for control points, you will not be able to resolve a site calibration conflict.
Note: You cannot resolve a conflict in control points if there is a conflict in site units.
Note: Version 3.4 of SCS900 enables you to store field-created points in a <control points>.field.csv file. You can also send updated office-approved control points from Trimble Business Center to the field using a <control points>.office.csv file. See the SCS900 documentation for more information.
Note: Certain characters are invalid in control point IDs:/ \ : * ? < > | ; , ~ ‘ ` “ $ [ ] { } ^ ( )
Note: The Undo and Redo commands do not affect any of the functions that synchronize files. Undo and Redo affect only edits made to database objects within your project; this does not include files in the data synchronization area (which SCS and GCS use). If you try to undo a conflict resolution, the button remains disabled because the conflict is still resolved.
