Include a Site Calibration

To include a site calibration in your job site data, simply perform a site calibration in your project or import a .dc calibration file. Either method automatically adds a .dc file to your site data in the data synchronization area when you assign the job site to controllers. The presence of a site calibration is indicated by the date in the Job Site Manager's Site Calibration group. If you add a site that you created and calibrated in SCS to your project, that calibration will also be reflected in the Site Calibration group.

Even if you do not perform or import a site calibration, the coordinate system and any datum, geoid, projection, and shift grid information that you specify in the Coordinate System Settings section of the Project Settings are automatically saved in the data synchronization area so they will be available when you open your site in SCS. If you calibrate your site or make other coordinate system changes in SCS, you will be prompted to resolve the site calibration conflict once you synchronize and reopen the site in this software.

Note: If you have file overwrite protection enabled for site calibrations, you will not be able to resolve a site calibration conflict.
